The menu for Saturday’s Asparagus Festival is the following:
- Asparagus soup
- Chicken breast stuffed with asparagus & jasmine rice
- Quinoa salad with grilled asparagus (vegetarian)
- Asparagus frittata
- Green salad (vegetarian)
- Brownie and cookie plate
- Lemonade
There will be a demo on making an asparagus crostini, which will be served as an appetizer
Steve Verrill will lead a field trip to the asparagus field at 11:00 am, followed by a noon lunch back at the farm stand.
Our Asparagus Festival is $25 per person, and reservations and prepayment are required by May 28 to assure your spot.
