Three days left for tomato seedling pickups!

Black Cherry Tomato SeedlingsIf you pre-ordered tomato and pepper seedlings, they need to be picked up by the end of the day on Tuesday, May 28th.

Seedlings may be picked up from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you did not pre-order tomato seedlings, we will have limited numbers available on a first-come, first-served basis, in front of our farm stand.

If you are an asparagus lover, then you won’t want to miss our annual Asparagus Festival, being held this Saturday, May 25th at 11 am.

Steve Verrill will lead a field trip to the asparagus field at 11:00 am, followed by a lunch back at the farm stand.

Lunch will feature dishes made with Verrill Farm asparagus. Chef Kevin Carey will offer up tips on preparing and cooking asparagus, and everyone leaves with a bunch of Verrill Farm asparagus.

Our Asparagus Festival is $25 per person, and reservations and prepayment are required by May 24 to assure your spot.

This festival sells out every year, so call soon to assure your space.

If you pre-ordered tomato and pepper seedlings, you may start picking them up today (Saturday, May 18) in our greenhouse.

Seedlings may be picked up from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week. Pickups continue until Tuesday, May 28th.

We’re now carrying a selection of vegetarian Indian entrees, made by chef Renita Mendonca of ‘Seasoned and Spiced.’

Choose from Channa Masala, Mutter Paneer, Lentil with Vegetables, Gobi Aloo and Dal Makhani.

They are available for take out in our refrigerated case, near our cheeses.
