Verrill Farm Chef Kevin Carey is spit roasting a whole pig for this year’s Verrill Farm BBQ, which will include pulled pork, ribs, sides and more.
This year’s BBQ will be held on Sunday, September 13, from noon to 4:00 p.m.
The post Labor Day event is a popular, fifteen year tradition which includes the barbecue, music by Spirit Fiddle and Hay and Pony Rides.
The menu, served a la carte, includes:
• Traditional BBQ including pulled pork, ribs & chicken
• Cole slaw, beans, corn bread, & fresh from the field corn on the cob
• Other choices include hot dogs and mac ‘n’ cheese
• Apple Crisp, Pecan Pie and beverages also available
• All food served to eat at Verrill Farm or packed for take out to enjoy at home later.
• Music by Spirit Fiddle www.spiritfiddle.com.
• Activities include hay rides and Giddy Up Pony rides
