He’s bundling up more than usual this year, and you should too, because he’s going to be in a tent beside our temporary building.
Two For The Show will be playing carols and there’ll be hot cider and cookies for everyone!

Picking up Thanksgiving orders
Monday, November 24, 2008, 7:46 amSince we’ll be doing things a little bit differently this year, here are a few tips:
- Pick up for your pre-ordered turkeys, side dishes and pies will be in a tent in the parking lot.

- Please be prepared to pay for your order in the tent when picking up.

- If you have a box or other container for carrying your order, please bring it with you and we’ll pack it with your items.
Our stand is filled with produce, bakery items, deli sandwiches, salads and prepared meals to go. You’ll also find fresh flowers, gifts and holiday decorations.

We’re open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m, each day; closed Thanksgiving Day & Friday, Nov. 28, and reopening Saturday, November 29 at 9 a.m.

Thanksgiving order deadline Sunday
Saturday, November 22, 2008, 9:00 amWe’ll be taking orders up until 7 p.m. Sunday for Thanksgiving. You’ll want to place your order for a fresh Stonewood Farm turkey and our delicious Verrill Farm pies and sides by then.

Pies & Savory Side Dishes: Our menu of prepared sides boasts a tasty selection of homemade Thanksgiving favorites like cranberry sauce, gravy and stuffing, as well as several vegetable dishes. For dessert, choose from among our award-winning pies, including apple with crumb topping, pumpkin and pecan. We also offer a pumpkin-apple loaf bread.
Stonewood Farm Turkeys: Last year’s feedback on our fresh turkeys from Stonewood Farm in Vermont was so positive that we are offering them again this year. They range in size from 10 – 30 lbs. and are $3.49/lb. We also have Stonewood Farm frozen turkey breasts weighing 2 to 4 lbs.
Stonewood Farm specializes in premium quality turkeys with superior flavor and juiciness. The turkeys are naturally grown, using no antibiotics or growth hormones, with plenty of fresh Vermont air, cool nights, green pastures, good feed and tender loving care.

We’re open!
Thursday, November 13, 2008, 7:53 pmWe are officially operating out of our temporary stand on Wheeler Road and would love to see all of our loyal customers and supporters.
We’ll be open seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Our Verrill Farm deli will be open for business beginning Saturday (Nov. 15), serving cold sandwiches, salads and meats and cheeses.
We want to thank each and every one of you – our customers, friends, and Verrill Farm family members – for your tremendous support following our fire. There is no way we could have done this without all of you.

We’re moving!! Indoors that is
Wednesday, November 12, 2008, 11:00 pmWe’re happy to report that beginning tomorrow today (Thursday, Nov. 13) we’ll be operating from inside our temporary farm stand.
Located on the edge of our parking lot, our temporary farm stand will feature much of what you loved about our previous stand – fresh produce, delicious Verrill Farm baked good and pies, coffee and scones, Shaw Farm milk, local cheese, chicken pot Pies, and grass-fed beef. We’ll have a large selection of crackers, Stonewall Kitchen products, ice cream and more.
And we’ll continue to add more items over the coming weeks. You’ll want to come down and see what we have to offer.
Work is being done on our temporary kitchen next door. Our temporary stand will feature our Verrill Farm deli, offering cold sandwiches, salads, deli meats and cheeses and prepared items to go.
Our store hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. We look forward to seeing you soon!
