Unfortunately, we’ve made the decision to cancel our Corn and Tomato Festival, scheduled for this weekend.
While we have a great supply of tomatoes and corn, the field adjacent to our farm stand, where we would park festival attendees, is just too wet to park vehicles on. With more rain predicted over the next couple days, we made the decision this afternoon to cancel the festival. Because of a number of issues, the festival will not be re-scheduled for this year
Come on down to our farm stand and buy some fresh veggies to have your own festival at home! We’ll have lots of tomatoes and corn available out front under our awning, along with our own summer squash, eggplant, beans, and local peaches, to name a few of our own items available for sale.
Our store hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
You’ll want to reserve Sunday, September 7th, for our annual Verrill Farm barbecue. Held from noon to 4 p.m., our barbecue features live music by Back Eddy Bluegrass, Violet The Clown, Giddy up Ponies pony rides and our own hayrides.
Mother Nature just didn’t cooperate with us this time. Hope to see you soon!

Congratulations on getting back in business so quickly. I was appalled to hear about the fire. You have such great food and people, and I wish you all the best in getting back to full operation. I’ll be by soon. Hi to everyone.
